Long ago, in a distant country, her king ordered to put a huge cobblestone in the middle of a busy road. Then he hid on the side of the road to see if anyone could get him out of the way. At first, several courtiers and wealthy merchants drove along in the carriages – they all just drove around the stone, many still loudly condemned the king for such obscenity on the roads near the capital, but no one did anything to remove the stone from the road.
After all of them, a peasant appeared on the road, carrying a bag of vegetables behind his back. Going to the cobblestones, he put the bag on the ground, and tried to push the stone on the side of the road. He had to sweat for this, but still in the end he succeeded. And after he again put the bag on his shoulders, he saw that under the cobblestone he was removing he had a purse full of gold coins, and a letter from the king in which he presented the purse with its contents to the one who would remove the stone from the road. The peasant realized that many of us have never been able to understand – “Every obstacle is an opportunity to improve our situation.”
