In the box, which was found in the museum, there was a wooden mast and other elements of a miniature model of a boat. These objects were put in tombs so that in the afterlife the deceased could navigate the water and go fishing.
“This is the most amazing discovery in my entire career. It is incredible that after so many years there is still an opportunity to uncover new secrets related to the golden pharaoh Tutankhamun,” said museum employee, archaeologist Mohammed Atva.
Pharaoh Tutankhamen (1341-1323 years BC) is considered one of the most brilliant rulers of ancient Egypt of the New Kingdom. It attracts the attention of scientists by the mysterious death at the age of 20, as well as by the “damned” tomb, which, according to reports from the middle of the 20th century, clandestine press, immediately followed by several scientists who participated in its autopsy.
